Improving well-being through Life Connected framework

Modern lives are complex and Americans struggle to balance a multitude of responsibilities – often, at the expense of their health and well-being. The trends are not encouraging: 72% of Americans are stressed about money1 and only 53% of Americans have meaningful, in-person interactions on a daily basis.2  As life and its challenges happen, employees need help managing their health and well-being to feel happier, more engaged and productive at work.

Cigna is expanding the way our teams help clients respond to these trends through the Health Accelerated: Life ConnectedSM framework. Life Connected addresses five dimensions that can impact employee health and helps employers understand how each dimension is connected. Cigna's team works with employers to identify ways to positively influence and support total well-being based on the unique needs and specific goals of each employer’s population.
