New Voluntary Reporting Package Provides Improved Insight for Clients

Cigna recognizes that clients demand information as part of their voluntary benefit strategy. That’s why we’ve enhanced the information we provide in our reporting package, as well as the look and feel of the package itself. It’s also why we’re proactively sharing client-specific data.

This new reporting package is available for voluntary clients who:

  • Have 1,000 or more employees
  • Submit 25 or more claims for each product that we run reports on
  • Have partnered with us for a minimum of 12 months

The new reports will provide clients with insights including:

  • Their company’s detailed enrollment & claims information for their group Accidental Injury (AI), Critical Illness (CI) and Hospital Care (HC) insurance policies
  • How their company’s experience with these products compares to industry benchmarks
  • Details about how the Cigna Simple File® solution has directly benefited their employees by making their AI, CI and/or HC benefits easier to use

Our Cigna Simple File solution provides our customers with Cigna Medical and Voluntary coverage these conveniences:

Auto compare* – We carefully review Cigna medical claims and remind customers to submit their eligible AI, CI or HC claim.
Auto claim* – For customers who also have Disability, Life and/or Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage through Cigna, we'll automatically file their eligible AI, CI or HC claim – so customers can focus on their health.

* The Cigna Simple File process is based on a one-time assessment of the initial claim documentation for the primary claim. Any subsequent events would not be identified and the customer will need to submit a claim for any voluntary benefits.
